Ampoules of EFFON contain Urofollitropin(FSH) as a white freeze dried sterile and pyrogen free product.

FSH corresponds to Urofollitropin, a highly purified hormone obtained from human menopausal urine having only FSH activity.

In the female treatment with FSH stimulates the overian follicular growth and maturartion and therefore the estrogen secretion.
In the male, treatment with FSH increases the Spermatogenesis function without affecting the Leydig apparatus or stimulating testosterone secretion.

Indications:
Induction of ovulation in patients with polysystic ovarian syndrome; amenorrhoes or anovulatory conditions and infertility states due to hormonal imbalance as a result of an elevated LH/FSH ratio.
Dosage: treatment with FSH may vary according to individual response.

normal Levels of Estrogen(70-150mcg/24h urine:200-600 pg/ml of plasma)
